Everyone has to fake happiness at some point
Time passes by. You don’t know it. You can only be aware of it.
Things are shitty. Everything …. nothing makes sense.
All that I have done, all that I have been trying to do seems to be worth nothing.
That’s the power of ‘Realizations’.
You think everything you do will grant you for all the hardwork that you have put into.
But here’s what happens… everything turns into pointless narrow winds of air. Sometimes, these words bear no meaning.
The clock is ticking. Every second passes by. We never realize how far and how much the our time has truly passed. Time flashes by…
My Ma was sitting at the table. Whenever we are together in the afternoon, our regular habit is to have tea. Milk tea. And trust me, if you were there, you will love it too. Because my mom makes amazing milk tea.
Anyways, so this day only… we were talking. And suddenly the topic of my little sis came up. My mom said that she was giving almost close to zero effort for her compared to what she did for me.
My mom and dad… they met in their graduate school. Fell in love. Married the next year, they graduated. Both of their departments was English.
Same qualifications.
But in a relationship, things are never equal. Some one has to sacrifice more.
Someone has to compromise more.
All for love.
So here’s what happened. Dad got the job. Mom was pregnant with me, kicking inside her belly, like the restless kid I was in my childhood.
Mom & Dad were very young (this is what they say). It was 2007 and my father was born in 1979. So he was 28 at that time.
“There’s no end of overthinking when you are doing things for the first time.” I could relate that to the time when I started freelancing and interacted with strangers…
Mom used to worry a lot about me. All that she wanted was a healthy child, which was not in vain. My mother wrote 10000 Hare Krishna in Bengali in her diary, for this wish of having a healthy child. She still keeps faith in God.
She was telling me, how I was just her forearm’s length at that time and now, I’m taller than her LOL! It’s been a decade and a half since I’ve come out of that womb.
I could relate to that too. I have seen my sis… well, she is almost a decade younger than me. She was as little as my laptop’s keyboard. Just this small 🤏
Seriously time passes by like merely falling leaves.
And until or unless we can change ourselves… adapt ourselves to the current time, we will lag behind.
My grandfather usually accompanies me on different long trips… This time we went to Durgapur where I achieved 3rd position in State-Level of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) {India’s Largest Science Search Exam}
My grandfather is 82… He has seen India change. He has seen almost a generation pass by. He is super knowledgeable and wise. And the best part… he loves learning.
Well… he said while telling me one of his stories on how he got into social work and his life experiences as a retired principal of our village college, (DR BR Ambedkar College, Betai) … he said… Time passes by. You don’t know it. You can only be aware of it.
Seriously… life is short. From a perspective.
And it’s good that way.
No matter how shitty your situation is, you are destined your mortal body.
No matter how good your situation is… you need to accept that, one day, you will leave it all.
For the shitty living person… It’s a relief.
For the nicely-living person… he attains enlightenment, once he realizes this game of life.
At one point, we must fake our happiness…
In order to be happy in the future and to let the moment pass.
No matter, how fucked up we are on the inside. No matter how hard we work and still we don’t get the result that we deserve… Nobody would understand how many hours you put into something. Nobody ever would.
Because it’s impossible to judge a man by his outlook.
And even harder than impossible to exactly feel what one has felt.
You can go closer as an empathy expert but no matter what you do or what info you get… even if you take a peek at someone’s soul, your feelings can never 100% match the person’s. And it’s good to be imperfect.
Because humanity’s imperfection is what makes it unique.
Funny is this game of life.
We are trapped inside our minds. We open our eyes… We are trapped inside this world. Peace lies within. Rarely do people know. And even more rarely they understand.
I’m starting everything again. Great things take time.
And happiness lies in the non-monotonous expectations and feelings that we experience. Every one of us has to fake happiness at some point. Faking to the point of faking their own faces in the mirror.
One day…. Things will end.
And all that matters is if you enjoy the life, you have lived. And you have the enjoy it either way… no matter how hard that journey has been. The end must be good. And it’s completely your responsibility to make it good.

Lately, i have been really stressed all this "life" stuff, but there is also somewhat of a relief coexisting inside...this duality haunts me yet it is comforting...it is indescribable to be honest...the grind "kills" you but it also makes you alive...
