There was this guy once upon a time… His name was Steve.
Steve was a huge crush for this girl Suzan. For over 3 years.
They used to go to Karate together and return too. They were buddies. Steve loved the fact that Suzan, a girl… even wanted to spend time with him. Even if for most of the time, it was 98% Suzan talking and Steve listening.
Obviously, Suzan perhaps fell in love.
Steve wasn’t a dumb ass… He knew that a girl like Suzan is good. But not enough good to have a future with.
Suzan was egoistic, self-centered, and jealous, she hated other girls, and some girls even thought her to be a bitch. But anyway, Steve looked beyond it. And he decided to give her a try… After all, he has known this girl for over 5 years.
And there, it happened. Steve had his first kiss. And they were in a relationship.
For the first initial days, it was so bright, there was so much sunshine 😄, such an amazing feeling to have a girlfriend.
But then, things started coming into reality.
It took Steve over a week to realize that it was him who was spending time to think about her. It was he who texted her the obviously worthy long texts. It was him pressing his lips on hers and the first one to say ‘I love you’.
“Bruh… it’s getting one-sided.”
He thought. He wrote to Suzan, one day…
I want you to text me long texts… it shows that you care about me.
All that he got as a reply was a sticker titled, ‘I am lazy.’.
That gave a small dent into his heart.
Ok… it’s fine. She’s just kidding 🙂 (POV: fake smile on the outside).
I forgot to tell you that I am Steve is a huge overthinker.But it really hurts the other person when your gf/bf talks about their friends of the opposite sex with so much pride and how this girl/that boy said they were soooooo pretty and gorgeous.
Suzan used to talk about how she met a new guy while eating pizza and how this guy showed huge interest in her, blah, blah , blah… Steve knew he was losing it. He was losing his peace. This girl was sooooo self-centered that she was only talking about herself. She would never send ILYs.
Nor did she say cute stuffs or texted cute stuffs.
Nor did she ever said, ‘Steve, you are amazing.’ Nor would she even wander her hands over his body when they were just alone. Not a single compliment. And nothing…
He realized, when he opened up about his problems with his new female friend, Martha, that…
He was feeling SUFFOCATED.
And he gave a lot of chances… He told her again that he needed comfort and emotional support from her side.
Martha was the first one to tell him that he might feel suffocated. And he did.
He needs to read her long texts. He needs her by his side even when they are together in public… Oh did I mention that Suzan used to act super indifferent to Steve at school…?
She shunned him. Uncaring and inconsiderate.
Steve knew that this was it… when talking on text, Suzan said that she loved RED FLAGS!!!… :) Why? Because they are possessive about their gfs.
Martha gave Steve comfort which he could just imagine. Funny… how a little phrase like ‘Are you okay? I’m here for you.’ can change the entire world for a person.
Martha seemed more amazing in his eyes in reality… than Suzan could ever be even in his wildest dreams.
He had taken a liking to Martha. She was texting him long every time he needed. She was there when he needed her the most. She was there when he was down… She seemed to be an angel in his eyes.
One day, the normal argument happened… And Steve, being a smart person… had already taken a decision. If the argument turned out to be a blame game, he would break whatever Suzan and he had. And even if it didn’t turn out to be that… he would find a way to break off this relationship which turned out to be a toxic mess.
Things turned really heated.
He called her to meet him one day. And said, ‘We are breaking up.’
Suzan couldn’t control her tears. She broke down. It was painful to see a girl cry like that. He had never ever made a girl before. But he knew it was for the better.
And perhaps, Suzan had never looked past what had happened due to her egoistic nature… But it was she who fucked up the entire relationship.
That’s how most of the cute things come to an end. 🙃
Steve patched up with Martha, who turned out to be his soulmate and they have a happily ever after. (minor arguments happen in any relationship, it’s normal.)

Even if you give hints… When you are in a relationship, you have to be open with whatever that’s going on your head. Everything should be crystal clear & transparent in a love relationship... because that’s the only thing that breeds LOYALTY & TRUST.

And most of the relationships fail due to two things:
Bad at sex. (though this isn’t such an important one because if there’s good communication, you will get over this in your relationship unless you have erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation or a cheating slutty wife). And yes, please don’t underestimate this cause… 90% of the marriage failures happen due to this :)
LACK OF COMMUNICATION…
In a relationship… in an actual love relationship… there is just the guy and the girl (I’m not against HOMOSEXUALITY… I’m just saying for an example)… And here’s what happens:
Either you communicate the wrong things: You talk about how others are giving you sooooo much attention in a glamorous, prideful tone.
Or you aren’t communicating the right things enough: If you don’t show the other person care… how would he understand????????
The thing is … friendship matters more… And even if you are a good friend, it doesn’t guarantee that you are going to be an amazing girlfriend.
That’s why it’s soooooo crucial to be a good friend first. Someone who understands you.

Replying with emojis when your girlfriend texts you really long texts.
Not displaying your gratefulness and gratitude to your girlfriend for being there for you always. She is your queen. You treat her like that.
Not giving her gifts or at least informing her that on this occasion, it’s not possible for you to give gifts because…. XYZ.
Leaving off her messages on read and then, forgetting to reply to them back.
Ignoring her ‘Are you ok, babe?’ texts. Open up else she won’t understand. She can’t read your mind.
Not opening up your doubts and things on your mind. Be CRYSTAL CLEAR.
Flirting with some other woman in front of your gf. And NOT GIVING HER ENOUGH ATTENTION when she craves for it.
Thinking about having a threesome with your girl and some other woman… trust me, your gf (if she truly loves you) WOULD NEVER WANT TO SHARE WITH YOU WITH SOME OTHER WOMAN.
And abusing her or acting indifferent to her in public and calling her names…
A MAN WOULD NEVER BAD MOUTH HIS WOMAN, EVEN CASUALLY.

Well, the relationship is all about being together.
Loving each other, caring for each other, and staying for the other person when he/she needs it. That’s all that matters…
It’s not about the good days… It’s about those bad days when you don’t feel like doing anything. And suddenly your girl texts you saying, ‘Start working hard because we have dreams to achieve.’. Motivating you to your goal. My girlfriend motivates me to be a better person every single day.
It’s about those demotivating bad mornings when you wake up thinking about how the other person could have cheated on you behind your back because last night, you saw your better half talking differently to this woman whom you didn’t know…
The key is to give them a chance to speak. Explain themselves.
She might just be having a joke with a little brother. Or a funny incident with a co-worker. She needs her space. You have to give it to her.
It’s better to stay single than to stay in a toxic relationship (just like Steve and Suzan)
And LOYALTY isn’t a mistake.
Loyalty is a choice.

Don’t get fooled by excuses like, ‘It was college’, ‘for business, you need to do it sometimes’, ‘I was drunk’, etc. If someone can’t maintain his own desires, he is not someone to make a family with.

It’s not about how much you love the other person. It’s about how much you are showing your love IN PRIVATE to that person. And how he is receiving it…
